The HELIOS surgical light is designed specifically for operating rooms, but it can also be used in treatment rooms, emergency departments (ED), oral surgery offices, and veterinary clinics. Its modern and monolithic dome construction facilitates easy cleaning, ensures ergonomic use, and provides excellent compatibility with laminar airflow. The dome is made of a special blend of materials that offers a long service life.
The dome consists of three (HELIOS 160) independent LED panels containing a total of 54 diodes or four (HELIOS 160 M) independent LED panels with a total of 60 diodes, allowing the HELIOS light to achieve an illumination intensity of up to 160,000 lux. HELIOS lights are equipped with an endo function, featuring nine levels of intensity adjustment for use during endoscopic procedures.
Positioning and maneuvering the light is made possible by a sterile handle located in the center of the dome and two non-sterile handles on its casing. The sterile handle includes a quick-on function and is used to adjust the light field diameter. A key advantage of the HELIOS light is its simple and intuitive control panel integrated into the dome arm, allowing smooth light intensity adjustments and activation of the endo mode.
The HELIOS lights are available with fixed (HELIOS 160) or variable color temperature (HELIOS 160 M) and come in ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, and mobile versions.
